GSM was established in 1974 by our current CEO as GSM Graphic Arts Ltd, producing nameplates and labels based in a vacated army barracks and parade ground in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The company now has a thirty year track record of consistent growth and sustained profitability.

GSM Graphic Arts Thirsk, N. Yorkshire manufacture low to medium quantities of almost any type of label, nameplate or fascia from an extensive list of materials.

GSM Primographic Brecon, Wales: joined the Group in 1994 and manufacture medium to high volume labels, nameplates, fascias and die cut adhesive parts in a wide range of materials. Increasingly they provide a service incorporating their parts within a sub-assembly supplied direct to line. GSM Primographic are a first tier supplier to most European based automotive OEM’s. They are also a major supplier to the white/brown goods and consumer electronics industries.

GSM Valtech Industries Wetherby, W. Yorks: - joined the Group in 1997. Manufacture and assemble sheet metal enclosures and graphic panel systems for the electronics industry.

GSM Printer and Label Systems Houghton Regis, Beds: Joined the Group in 1998 and provide end to end label solutions for labelling, data capture and bar-coding requirements within your plant or warehouse. Solutions include standard or bespoke software, hardware and consumables. Bespoke software is written at an in house IT centre.

GSM Industrial Graphics Witney, Oxon: Joined the Group in 2000 and manufactures kick strips, tread plates and aluminium interior trim for the automotive industry. It specialises in coil anodising and etching of stainless steel and aluminium.

The GSM Group has always funded its own investments by reinvesting profits and all factories, sites and equipment are wholly owned by GSM. This gives our customers and suppliers alike the peace of mind that comes from dealing with a financially strong company.
